Good framing is the backbone of every home. Get it wrong and everything that follows - the roofing, the walls, the windows - pays for it. Get it right and the rest of the build just flows. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every new build we take on.

Here's what we were working with - a multi-unit residential new build at the framing and sheathing stage. The structural framing is squared up and solid, roof decking is laid across clean rooflines, and Tyvek HomeWrap is installed across the exterior walls. That wrap isn't just a cosmetic step. It's a critical moisture barrier that protects the structure while the rest of the envelope gets finished out.

Framing sets the tone for the entire project. Walls that aren't plumb, headers that aren't properly sized, or roof lines that aren't dead-on straight - those problems don't disappear. They compound. Every trade that comes in after us is working off what we put up, so we don't cut corners at this stage.

On a build like this, we're thinking about more than just getting the lumber up. We're thinking about how the roof system will perform long-term, how the structure will hold up, and whether the next crew stepping on site is set up for success. That's what dependable new build work actually looks like in practice.

Whether it's a single home or a multi-unit build, the approach doesn't change. Solid materials, tight workmanship, and no shortcuts on the details that matter most. That's what we bring to every job.
